Skinny Dip London...

Hello guys!

I got a lovely gift from Skinny Dip London yesterday, and by gift, I mean a whole bundle of goodies!

I've never known such a generous brand before! As you know, when I usually get goodies it's in exchange for a blog post. However, Skinny Dip London didn't want anything in exchange other than a mention on Instagram which I would of done anyway so really they haven't asked me for anything.

You can imagine my face when I got an email off them! I'm a big fan of Skinny Dip London so I was squealing just a little bit.

If you're not sure who Skinny Dip London are you probably would recognise their products in Topshop. They do all the glittery and funky phone cases. They also do handbags and accessories.

Skinny Dip London are their own brand but are well known as Topshop stock their items.

All their products are very very fashionable and fun. A lot of them are quite unique and 'out-there'.
They tend to do collections of things. They choose a particular design such as mermaids or cowgirls and make one of each product in that design so you can buy the whole collection and have everything matching which I think is a really cool idea.

So lets have a look at what they actually sent me.

The Rose Gold Chic Backpack

I am soooo in love with this bag. I've got way too many handbags but at the end of the day, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
When Skinny Dip London got in touch with me they told me to choose some items off their website that caught my eye.
I've been loving rose gold lately so this stood out at me immediately.
I really didn't think they would send me this one but I thought it was worth a try so I'm glad I chose it! They tend to do a lot of smaller clutch bags so the bigger handbags and backpacks cost a bit more. I wouldn't say they are expensive at all, I think very affordable for the brand and modern designs.
This bag is £34. But still, I didn't expect to get this on my doorstep.

For some reason it wasn't how I expected it to look. The pictures on the website make it look a lot more pink and also the pattern looks like it's a lot ...smoother?
When I received it, it's actually a lot more gold/copper than I thought it would be. I can see why it's called rose gold though because that's the main colour but there are so many flashes of colour through it, it's basically iridescent.

The pattern is a crocodile print and a lot more noticeable in real life. I definitely think this bag will get a lot of attention. It's one to make people stare. The colours and print really catch your eye.
But that's what Skinny Dip London is all about. Loud, eye-catching products!

I wouldn't say it was a large bag, but it's not small either. it's perfect size for a day out shopping, these are the dimensions so you can get a good idea.

Dimensions:
H: 30cm
L: 25.5cm
D:16.5cm

There is a pull up piece to tighten it and adjustable straps so you can make it fit to your preference.

It opens and closes with one of those buttons that is a magnet.

The material of the bag is PU leather.
Inside there is a main compartment which is very spacious. Two small pouches perfect for your keys and phone or small change.
There is a zipped compartment, also rather spacious, perfect to put your passport in and on the back of the bag is another zipped compartment.
There is also a handle at the top of the bag so you can choose how to carry it.

If you click here it will take you to the rose gold section which shows everything that matches this handbag. You can get the matching passport holder, phone case, headphones and clutch purse.

They also do this bag in the hyper design which is also iridescent but purple/blue and it's more of a foil looking design than crocodile. They have a whole amazing collection of this design too!

Overall I am very happy with this bag,I haven't fully tested it out and about yet but I'm sure I will next time I go into town! One very happy bunny right here!

The Gold Shell Earbuds

These are the cutest damn little earphones I've ever seen. They are part of the shell collection which is very mermaid-like.

I originally asked for the matching gold shell bag. I'd seen it in Topshop so many times but never actually bought it so I thought I'd get the set. However I didn't get the matching bag as it is out of stock. Gutted.

But nevertheless, I LOVE these earphones. They are actually such good quality! I don't know why but I always presume if it's not a music/technology brand then they won't be as good but I was pleasantly surprised as these sounded great! Very clear and crisp indeed.

I think they might give me motivation to go running more as I can listen to my music now that I have a good pair of headphones.

I really like the design. The shells are adorable and are not uncomfortable. I like that they are the silicone earbuds that fit snugly in your eye and cancel any outside noise. There is nothing worse than those horrid round ones that rest on your ear.

I actually really love the cable, it's a white cable with flecks of gold glitter. Very very cute.

They fit any iPhone, laptop, or tablet that has that generic headphone port so pretty much everything which is very handy.

You can buy these earphones here for £16 and they are also available in silver.

The Slushie Phone Case

Skinny Dip phone cases are amazing. I imagine this is what they are best known for. Their fun and fashionable phone cases.

They do phone cases for all the Iphones and the Samsung S5 and S6.
I have an Iphone SE so mine fits in any of the 5/5S cases which is great because they tend to be cheaper.

I really love the design of this one. I literally chose this just so I can take selfies in the mirror because it'll look like I'm holding a drink HA!
Genius.

I think these phone cases probably aren't the most practical as they are quite bulky and sometimes it can be difficult to even get them in your pockets so I would say they are more of a fashion accessory. I just thought they would look great on my Instagram feed!

They are quite lightweight though! They have cutouts over the buttons so they are still accessible. The only thing with this one is the volume buttons are quite deep into the case so you have to squeeze your finger in there to change the volume.

Because it is quite thick silicone it will definitely help prevent any scratches or breakages. It completely covers the back and sides of the phone and also comes with a free screen protector and cloth to clean your screen!

This phone case did cost £16. However it has been reduced to just £5 which is an absolute bargain!! It is £6 for the Iphone 6/6S.

Buy it here!

The Orange Juice Phone Case

Again, a very fun and silly phone case. It's very similar to the Slushie phone case. It's silicone and has the cutaway detailing for the buttons and ports. This one is easier to get on and you don't have to struggle changing the volume. It's a lot lighter and slimmer so this one is a bit easier to carry around with you and actually use. It comes with the free screen protector and cloth.

Again it covers the side and the back. I think I prefer the design of the other one but I love the fit and practicality of this one.

I do love both, but in different ways.

This one has also been reduced to £5 for all phones.

and you can get it here

I couldn't be more grateful to Skinny Dip London for sending me all this as a lovely gift! I also got this really cute postcard with my items.

Whenever I work with a brand I keep the tags or note that comes with it and stick it on a notice board in my dressing room and I'm kind of making a big collage dedicated to my blog. I think this one will look really good on it!

Huge huge thank you Skinny Dip London for introducing me to your brand and products. I love all my items and can't wait to test them all out properly, take some selfies with my phone cases, try out my bag and go running with my headphones. I'm sure you'll see plenty of pictures on my Instagram!

Don't forget to check out their social medias!

Thanks for reading guys,

Much love,
