7 Ladies Outfits Created Using Only Menswear

I wanted to do something a little more fun this week! We've had a lot of serious blog posts lately and I wanted to do something that could be amusing and creative at the same time.

So I decided to try and take on the challenge of using only menswear to create 7 ladies outfits, one for each day of the week.

I've seen other people do this so I'm not sure who first came up with the idea but typically the people who have created these posts have gone shopping and bought men's items in their sizes, whereas I just borrowed clothes that I could get my hands on so that was an added challenge!

As a size 6 lady with size 3 feet who can barely find women's accessories that fit her, using menswear for accessories was going to be to difficult so I decided to just make all the clothing men's and use women's shoes.

I wanted to take it as seriously as I could and truly make them into outfits that a female could go out in and nobody would notice that she was wearing men's clothing.

I filmed the process on Instastories and lots of you joined me and messaged me to tell me how much you loved the content and so I'd love to do more stuff like this. It was definitely a laugh!

Anyway, I think I actually did pretty well for someone who had to force things to fit.

Below are the 7 outfits I came up with!

Considering this was probably the outfit with the least flattering clothes, I actually think this might be my favourite one!
I feel like its very 2019. Like a spin on the cycling short trend. Sporty vibes. I like it. I also like that it didn't take much styling. Can just throw it on and as long as your hair and makeup looks good, it'll look stylish.

The Jacket is from Topman, as is the T-shirt and the shorts are probably a thousand years old so I can't help you there.

I genuinely feel like you can't tell this is menswear. I would wear this out 100%.
Plus the belt is menswear too. It's only the boots that are mine.
Love this jumper dress trend!

Jumper is Topman, and the belt is River Island. Boots are Hidden Fashion.

I thought this one was going to be tragic but actually I'm getting 90s Friends vibes. It's very Monica / Rachel and I'm living for it!
Top is from Topman and the Jeans are Next.

I think I did a good job of pulling this off as womenswear! I already have a ladies shirt like this but I figured using a belt to cinch me in would make it look a little more feminine and I actually prefer this to mine. Plus these spray on jeans were so tight they fit me anyway lol.

Shirt was from Next, Jeans from Topman and belt from River Island.

I like the top half of this outfit but I definitely couldn't pull off the shorts! Some black skinny jeans would have made a cute rock chick outfit though.

I'm not sure where the shorts were from but top and jacket are both Topman.

OK someone try telling me this isn't a woman's outfit. Believe it or not that scarf is men's and so is the jumper. This is something I'd wear in winter. Such pretty colours. Feel like it looks vintage and very grown up.

OK this one is one of my favourites. I actually felt really sexy in this one. I mean, ridiculous, but sexy :')

You would have to wear some booty shorts underneath though and I'm not sure when you would wear it but it felt really cool anyway.

And that's all 7 outfits! Which was your favourite??
Mine was the first one! Who reckons they could pull off this challenge?
Give it a go! I really enjoyed it and discovered some new outfit styling ideas.
